In his third spell with the Irongate club. On leaving school Andy joined Preston North End where he stayed for two years before moving on to Bury where he had a twelve months stint. Moved on to Morecambe for five years before joining Shrimps neighbours Lancaster City. Had a three month loan spell at Irongate during 2001-02 whilst at Giant Axe. Teamed up again with former Brig manager Tony Greenwood at Fleetwood Town for two years. Signed for Bamber Bridge prior to the 2004-05 campaign but left at the end of the season and returned to Highbury Avenue. Joined Marine in January 2007 before retuning to Irongate for the start of the 2008-09 season.

Ryan-Zico Black (Forward)

Ryan-Zico Black was named after Brazilian legend Zico. He joined Morecambe and worked his way through to the first team, winning Northern Ireland international honours at under 18 and under 21 levels. He also represented Guernsey in the 2005 Island games. He made over 100 league appearances for Morecambe before being released to join Northwich Victoria during the 2003/04 season, before moving into the Irish League Premier Division with Glenavon in 2003-04. Later signed for Lancaster City. Joined Kettering Town as Paul Gascoigne’s first signing in late 2005 and was released in the summer of 2006, rejoining Lancaster City in July. Ryan became a victim of Lancaster's need to cut costs and joined Barrow in November 2006. Was released in May 2007. Despite reports suggesting Zico was going to Spain to try and continue his career there, he rejoined Lancaster City for his third spell in August 2007. Beat the transfer deadline to sign for Bamber Bridge in March 2008.

Nicholas is the first Frenchman to play for Bamber Bridge. Started his football career as a youth team player with Angouleme who play in the Championnat de France 2, before moving to Cognac for a two year spell. Returned to Angouleme for two seasons before once again joining Cognac for a further two year spell. Played against Bamber Bridge for North West Counties League side Ashton Athletic in a pre-season friendly after moving to England but signed for the Irongate club at the start of the 2008-09 campaign.

Striker who started his football with the very successful youth set up at Burscough. Joined the ranks at Victoria Park in the 1999-00 season where he spent the next five years. Joined Conference North side Droylsden at the start of the 2004-05 season but moved on for a short spell with Prescot Cables. Joined North West Counties League side Skelmersdale United before returning to Burscough at the start of the 2005-06 season. Signed for Bamber Bridge in September 2005. Made over one-hundred appearances for Bamber Bridge.

Jamie started out in the county leagues on Merseyside and spent two or three seasons with St Aloysius before moving on for a two year spell with North East Liverpool Technical College, both clubs operating in the Liverpool County Premier League. Jamie then spent a couple of seasons with Maghull in the West Cheshire League before a short spell in New Zealand with Naenae. Joined Bamber Bridge at the start of the 2008-09 season.

Stuart began his football career at Blackburn Rovers. At 16 he was captain of the Lancashire team that won a national cup, and in the following year captained the Blackburn Rovers under 17 side. Moved on to Chesterfield at the start of the 2002-03 season and in total the defender made 55 appearances for the Spireites and scored three goals. Stuart left Chesterfield in July 2004 for Accrington Stanley but the move never worked out and he ended up leaving after playing just a handful of games. Spells at Droylsden and Lancaster City followed before Stuart signed for Barrow in January 2006, from where he joined Chorley. Joined Bradford Park Avenue in November 2007 before moving to Bamber Bridge at the start of the 2008-09 season.

Midfielder, John is a very experienced local footballer in both Lancashire and Cumbria, but actually began his football career over in the north east with Hartlepool United. On his release from Victoria Park John joined Fleetwood Town. He spent just one season at Highbury Avenue before the first of two spells with Kendal Town. John later played for Barrow, Morecambe, Lancaster City and Chorley. He was involved with the very successful Preston Sunday League side Arkwright’s. Had drifted into the West Lancashire League and was playing for Preston side BAC/Springfields before being picked up by Bamber Bridge in October 2008.

Mike started his football career with the Southport youth team before moving on to Burscough where he made his first team debut at the tender age of 17. Left Victoria Park after four and a half years stay and spent a season at St Helens Town in the North West Counties League. Spent 18 months in Australia before returning for a 2 year spell back at Burscough. Joined the Police Force and represented the national side in 2007-08 against both Scotland and Wales. Joined Bamber Bridge at the back end of that season. Made his debut for the Irongate club in the opening game of the 2008-09 season at Halifax Town in the First Division North; scoring the opening goal in a 3-0 win for Bamber Bridge.

Big strong central defender who came through the ranks at Irongate. Was away at university for a few years before recommencing his football with Bamber Bridge. Made his Northern Premier League debut on the opening day of the 2003-04 season at Irongate against Kidsgrove Athletic in the First Division on the 16th August 2003. Spent the 2004-05 season with North West Counties League side Squires Gate where he captained the side towards the end of the season. Returned to Irongate at the start of the 2005-06 campaign. Left once again to become the assistant manager at North West Counties League side Atherton Collieries in 2006-07 before returning to Bamber Bridge for the start of the 2008-09 season.

Defender. In his second spell at Irongate. Jamie was with both Morecambe and Accrington Stanley before signing for Fleetwood Town at the start of the 2005-06 season. Joined the ranks at Bamber Bridge for his first spell in January 2007 making his debut for the club at Rossendale United on the 20th January 2007 in the First Division. Jamie stayed only a few months at Irongate before moving South where he joined Enfield Town of the Isthmian League First Division North at the start of the 2007-08 season. Returned to his native North West after twelve months and rejoined Bamber Bridge for the start of the 2008-09 campaign.

First joined Bamber Bridge at the start of the 2002-03 season and finished as the clubs leading goalscorer. Moved on to Chorley in 2003-04 and spent some time at Fleetwood Town in 2004-05 before re-signing for the Irongate club at the start of the 2005-06 campaign. Made over two-hundred appearances for Bamber Bridge.

Learned his football at Bolton Wanderers where he spent five years before moving on to Leigh RMI in 1999. After a season at Hilton Park Lee joined Bamber Bridge for the first of three spells with the Irongate club. Was very popular with the fans at the South Ribble club in his two year stay before moving on to Chorley for a season. Then joined Fleetwood Town where he won a North West Counties League First Division championship medal in 2004-05 and was voted as the supporters Player of the Year at Highbury Stadium. Had a season away from the game in 2007-08 but retuned to Irongate at the start of the 2008-09 campaign. A tenacious player who never gives less than a hundred per cent.

Scored 23 goals in 76 appearances in his first spell at Irongate before moving on to Clitheroe in the 1998-99 season. Played in both legs of the Semi-Final of the FA Vase against Western League side Taunton Town in the 2000-01 season whilst at Shawbridge. Made over one-hundred League and Cup appearances for Bamber Bridge.

In his second spell at Irongate. Neil started with Oldham Athletic as an apprentice in 1996 spending two years at Boundary Park before moving to the United States of America. He had a five year stint in the US playing for Mercer University before returning home and signing for Bamber Bridge in 2003-04. Made his Bamber Bridge debut at Farsley Celtic on the 20th December 2003 in the Northern Premier League President’s Cup. Did not stay long at Irongate and had short spells with both Great Harwood Town and Chorley before settling at Darwen in the North West Counties League, where he stayed for two seasons. Then enjoyed a two and a half year spell at Rossendale United before joining Clitheroe. Came back to Bamber Bridge in January 2008.
